Default CO Question: Does bump and rebound settings affect ride height?

The reason i ask is because i am running KW V3 and i am having trouble raising the height on my driver rear side.

I raised the perch till there is no more thread and the height is at 13.5' from center to fender lip while the other three coils having about 2 inches of thread remaining.

At the moment i do not posses any simple tools so i cant really adjust my bump and rebound settings.

Anyone else faced a similar problem?

Who did the install? Bump and rebound won't affect ride height, whoever installed them botched something.

i had the installation done at a local body shop.
What do you mean by botch?
Can it be unbotched?
Faulty install?
can it be reinstalled?

Thanks ahead of time

They might have forgetten a washer or something...I haven't looked at a set of V3s in a few months so I can't remember exactly how they are assembled.

You should be able to raise and lower your C/O from the bottom. On my coilovers, the preload adjustment does nothing for ride height... same as yours. To raise/lower the corner, I have to completely unwind the spring preload (loosen both spring locking collars), and loosen the bottom locking collar. When the top is completely unwound, I have to thread the bottom locking collar upwards until they meet. Lock them together and use your c/o tool to "un-wind" or "up-wind" it. This will raise or lower it.

FWIW, this is how it works on my BC Sports BR coilovers... I might have completely wasted my time if the V3's aren't anything like mine
