Default Best Street/Track set up?

I was wondering what some peoples opinions were on my future suspension plans. Whiteline Steering Bushings (definately right away), Whiteline ALK, Perrin F&R Sways, Perrin H.D. Mounts, Perrin F&R End links (maybe Kartboy), STi Pinks, and Group-N Rear Strut Top End Mounts. This of course will come after a Stage 2 power upgrade and a few other toys. I want high quality suspension parts but I am really looking for the best bang for the buck. Keep in mind that this car is my daily driver and it will rarely see the track (I know it's a shame). It'll be mostly for getting to work and back and tearing up the streets. Any suggestions?

I would definitely replace the Perrin Sways with Whiteline 29/26. You cannot go wrong with those on the street or track. Also, I've been hearing good things about the RCE springs. I may have to get a set for next year!

Yeah, change the Perrin sways to Whiteline 27 front and 24 rear with the Whitleine H.D. mounts also. Kartboy front and rear endlinks. RCE springs and RCE front non-lowering camber plates or front group-ns.

And don't forget the bushings. Full shifter bushings, and perhaps something like Unabombers Sexy Rearend for, well, the rearend.

OH! And don't forget a more performance oriented alignment.

Myles,

Could explain why 27 front and 24 in the rear for the sway bars? It seems everybody else is doing the exact opposite in order. (by actually observing how people mod their cars... not by how many people say to do it on iwsti.com)

By running a bigger front what does that do? I'm asking because I ran into a guy, during track day, that was running a huge sway bar in the front and he absolutely loved it. But no matter how much I tried to reason it out dynamically... I was just confused.

Please explain.

most everyone in the subaru community runs the bigger bar up front with a slightly smaller (or same sized) bar in the rear. I know it makes more sense the other way around but the subaru's suspension likes having the bigger bar in front. despite what you might think it reduces understeer.

Not to sound like a dick or something, honestly do a search on this there is a TON of discussion about the FSB/RSB "debate" you will find the rationale for this

Best bang for the buck, for a car that isnt really going to see any track/autox, suspension wise I say just get swaybars (I like the WL 27/39 FSB, and 24 RSB). I wouldnt recommend going nuts on suspension if you arnt going to the track/autox the car. But thats just me, to improve feel and "driving pleasure" on the street I feel like swaybars do the trick in making the car feel better. Besides that, I suppose you could get springs (pinks/swifts/rce) to lower the car a little bit to have a better look and what not.

Hope that helps.
