Don't bother with the front endlinks...most people don't replace them. I'm going to use kartboy endlinks with my cobb rear sway when I get it.

It does sound like a swaybar issue to me. I've had and installed many different KB endlinks on many different bars on many different cars. I've never had one issue.

I'm on my second KB enhanced Subie and I love them.

Just a quick update to everybody. I actually thought my COBB swaybars arrived at my shipping location across the border, but they were delayed due to SEMA... I told a white lie.. they weren't actually ready to install yet . But they are on the way, and once I get them, I will measure them and if the Kartboy will work I will get those... if not, I'll put the stock endlink in the front for the time being and I SHOUILD be able to get away with using the stock endlink in the rear on the softest setting without risk of flip until I get the Kartboy or COBB endlinks.

Looks like the KARTBOY will not work with the front... so that is out...
your info is out. kartboy front and rear endlinks work with cobb front and rear sways. if you exercise care when dropping the car off of jackstands they should not flip even with the stock endlinks.

I give up. We are all talking about the same part on the same car. How can it be that a Kartboy endlink on a Cobb Bar fits on some STI’s and not others?

Here are some pics of my car with the Cobb End link installed and with the Kartboy end link installed.. Unless I am missing something, the Kartboy can not be used on my STI.

Since so many other people say they have the same set up working on their STI, I guess my issue is a one-off..

I think we addressed your issue already, as did Cobb in their reply on their forum to you - your swaybar seems to be a different length than what is "normal" for an STi sway - We don't sell their swaybars so I cannot comment on the length issue but that is obviously the problem in you case - the shortness of your sway is preventing you from using the Kartboy links, not an issue with the endlinks themselves.

Furthermore, if your endlink is having to "stretch" to meet your swaybar, you're not really effectively using the endlink anymore and in fact could be causing swaybar preload under some conditions.

I know we've used these endlinks literally hundreds of times with stock sways and with Cusco sways, and have never had a single issue

Maybe they sent you the wrong bar? Like a WRX bar if it's diff?

I ordered a group N mount and they sent me a WRX mount. I brought it to their attention and I was apparently the first one to let them know in 3 years... How many other people got WRX mounts for their STI and didn't know? The STI mount is 6-8mm shorter... the WRX will "fit" but will cause other problems.

No - what they said was that the stock subaru bars vary in length but theirs are allways the same size. In my case the bar was OK but tht endlinks could not be used.....

Sounds like the wrong bar to me.
