IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2006 Trader Rating: (1) | Hi, I just installed my springs and camber plates but I have a problem. Is the PDE logo supposed to be facing tword or away from the car and which side is the adjuster supposed to face. Right now both adjuster plates (the ones with the holes are facing inside tword the fender well. I have them in the camber only position. Thanks, Max This ad is not endorsed by this member. IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2006 Trader Rating: (1) | PS if anyone develops a strut clunk after PDE install make sure the top Nut is super tight. I don't see how you could do it without air tools but I hammered it in with my 1/2 inch impact and it stopped clunking. Also check the bottom nut as you most likely removed it during installation if it is loose it will also cause clunk. Now onto the link. This post helped me most. PDE PLATES COME WITH NO DOCUMENTATION But on their website they have a very rought install guide. http://www.pde-usa.com/downloads/ins...10_install.doc Also how the hell do you know which is the 10th hole and how it is adjusted? ![]() I don't know how they expect you to figure this out on your own but I managed. Also don't forget you can install them in Camber only Caster Camber position. The above is in Camber/Caster position. Each hole is a .2 degree change in camber. So Hole 10 is where you were stock. Don't think this is 0 degrees unless you set it at zero. When you get your performance alignment have them max out negative camber then you can get real numbers. I.E. if they max out at -1.7 then hole 10 is you guessed it -1.7 and hole 9 is -1.9 hole 11 is -1.5. Of course this all depends on what your car will do stock. Keep in mind that if you set a street then track setting when you change Camber you will change toe just a bit also. So find a median point so you can have a toe and camber setting that is a good compromise. I plan on running almost no toe for street so when I adjust the camber at the track I may have a small amount of toe. The above pic was courtesy of speedabsolute.com Thanks to Cho_Yang for coming over Sunday even tho we didn't finish. I can't wait for my performance alignment the 16th Here's my suspension set up Cobb Swaybars Kartboy Endlinks Swift Springs Group N rear Tops PDE Camber Plates Next will be Ohlins Fixed Perch when the stockers meet their demise. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2005 Trader Rating: (21) | the easiest way to differ is the v1 is very golden, the v2 is more bronze silver ish in color... the v2 doesnt raise quite as much to my knowledge and there is slight other changes... not positive on them all, i think that top part that has pde inscribed on it is different for both versions... |

IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2006 Trader Rating: (1) | Now that my springs are settling in I'm finding that the front of the car sets way higher then the rear. I can fit about 3 fingers inbetween the fender on the front and I'm about even with the fender in the rear. I'm tempted to put on the group N tops and see what it does. I'll post some pics soon. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2006 Trader Rating: (1) | ![]() So what do you think? Will this throw off my ride geometry? I'm concerned that the front looks so much higer but the car is riding very nice and I love the new springs. I just don't like the fact I have so much gap in the front. | Platinum Member | when the car is "even" it should have ~3/4" more gap in the front than the back - the front arch is higher. If you want to reduce it, get the RCE plates - they drop the front instead of raise it. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2006 Trader Rating: (1) | I have at least 2 inches more in the front but I don't understand why. I have Swift Sport Machs with PDE Plates. THe PDEs are supposed to raise the car by 1/2 an inch and the Swifts were supposed to drop it by .984 I'm almost at stock height in the front and lower in the rear... I'll take some better pics.
