1) 2
2) Cobb Lowering Springs/ Stock Sways
3) Pulling up fast diagonally (to the right) on an inlcined-steep a$$ driveway
4) 3k miles (only about 30 miles after putting springs)
5) Didn't think much of the audible clunk i first heard coming from the rear until i noticed the car swerving to the left while driving the next day. I knew then the first place to look to see what had happened > sway bar twisted (left side down and the right side up) with both endlinks bent

looking to replace both (front and rear) sways and of course the endlinks
any particularly good ones? ( i was thinking cobb sways and wl links)

1. Number of end links bent= 2
2. Springs and sway on the when it bent/flipped= Stock Sway....JDM Spec C TYPE RA 4 way adjustable struts/JDM Pinks/STI Group N tops
3. Circumstances around the bend/flip...No clue, noticed it when replacing rotors and did a search on IWSTI to see if anyone else had this
4. Miles on your car at the time of failure....Approx 35K not sure when it happened
lol im surprised also of how common it is...they made the endlinks just enough to withstand only the pressure of the bone stock suspension setup...otherwise no warranty coverage...no recall

2 bent rear endlink back in june 07, now 2 more bent rear endlinks in March 08. Dont buy stock endlinks from subaru THEY SUCK!! I noticed when the passenger side was sitting higher than the drivers side.

just found out today when i looked underneath the car....
I thought the struts were clunking and maybe they are, but I think this was the source of the noise in the rear

Same thing happen to me. I was hearing intermittent clunking from the rear and just ignored it. The I went to install my TBE and found both rear end links flipped.

The stock end links are VERY flimsy. (I forgot to mention that my end links flipped at about 3,000 miles on my STI)

The problem is not that they're flimsy, it's that they're too short. If they were longer the bar would never get into a position to be able to 'flip' them.

came home from work today and noticed the passenger side of the car was higher, looked underneath and didn't notice anything.so i jacked up the car and heard a thunk looked like the endlinks were rubbing on the control arm set it back down and now its level.the endlinks don't look bent though.they must have flipped but now there back.went over a speed bump the other day but very slowly.2006 sti with 10,000 miles.everything on the suspension is stock except for a X brace.what gives?seems like a flawed design

Mine have not flipped/bent. But that's probably because I switched to Kartboy endlinks shortly after buying the car.

Prodrive springs / less than 2k miles
