Default COBB vs. Kartboy Endlinks - pros and cons?

I'm getting the COBB swaybars and thought I would just pick up the endlinks as well... I've read I need the rear at the very least, but since I don't like installing things twice, I thought I would get the front as well and be done with it.

So which is better and why?

Also, is the rear adjustable aluminum plate really necessary? COBB says it is to keep the endlink vertical when adjusting to settings other than full soft.

Why are the nuts coming off? Isn't that an issue of tightening it to the right torque? Ignoring the nut coming off problem, are there any other pros and cons you can think of between the two?

Are the kartboy front endlinks the same as rear? Where to buy for best price?

There was a problem with the Cobb links losing nuts/bolts, but i am pretty sure they have corrected it.

Anyhow, I own Kartboys, and they have never let me down. This is the second car that I have used them on, and they perform excellently.

www.turninconcepts.com is a great vendor to get Kartboy products from.

Do the research on those adjustable plates before you buy anything. I *think* you need them for the '06+ models, but I'm not sure. I didn't need them for my '04.

Ok so assuming COBB fixed that... does it come down to weight and noise?

Obviously saving weight is always nice, but it's probably negligible... so then it comes down to noise... do the Kartboys make any audible noise over stock?

No, they don't. The only endlinks that are supposed to make noise are the spherical Whiteline links.

i had cobb's...nuts fell out while driving leading to the rest of the bolts/washers falling out. i'm not sure if they corrected it, all you needed was a locking nut. it had nothing to do with torque settings.

i switched to kartboy...they made a lot of noise when i first put them on. i took them off and put silicone lubricant inside of all the moving parts on it and they're uber quiet now.

the cobb's were quiet.

That may be a good idea, I've always installed endlinks with a swaybar, and i've just used some of the lithium grease for the sway bar bushings.

Did you use any Loctite with the Cobbs?

I used medium strength loctite with my cobbs and have had no problems for 6 months or so.

no after losing hardware twice, i just sold them i didn't want to put up with that ****.
if you get cobb, just get locking nuts....but i recommend kartboy over them for they are beefy and easy to maintain compared to cobb and are much cheaper.

In what way are they easier to maintain? How are they noisewise compared to COBB?

And are the Kartboys designed in a way that lessen the chances of the nuts coming loose? Or do they come with nuts that are locking?

So far, I think I am leaning towards Kartboy... they are $180 for front and rear from TiC... vs. $300 MSRP from COBB.
