exactly.

they are built a lot simpler than cobb's, so what i mean is when you have to lube them it's mad easy....as soon as you get them you will see what i mean and you'll see what you want to lube, which you should do before you install.

my cobbs were quiet right of the bat, but i was mad abou the hardware..

kartboy uses a different nut that locks onto the bolt more and mine haven't come loose yet.

i tightened them to like 35 and kartboy recommends 40 i believe...cobb wanted theirs at 31-32, which is like the stock ft/lbs yet isn't enough to keep them on and overtorquing isn't recommended.

Just go with the KBs from TiC and forget about it. Endlinks really shouldn't be this big of a deal.

Indeed. TiC puts together some pretty nifty package deals.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought it was the WRX with the weak braces and the STi already came with pretty good fender braces from the factory?

You're wrong. The stock STi braces are flimsy stamped steel.

I have the Kartboy rear; they are silent just as the stock. Never had one problem with them.

Thanks, my only concern would be with the GTspec but its probably since i haven't research it too much. Your greatest strength will come from something that has less bends. But I am off to research to see if the GTspec design is optimum or not.

Yep. TiC ones are at the correct pricepoint, and simplicity of design, IMO.

So which is better and why?

Also, is the rear adjustable aluminum plate really necessary? COBB says it is to keep the endlink vertical when adjusting to settings other than full soft.
I had a problem using the Kartboy end links with the front Cobb bar and ended up switching to the Cobb endlinks. Check out this thread on the topic: http://www.cobbforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31609

I went with Kartboy because they are cheaper, but I certainly think Cobb's are better. They use spherical bearings just like an OE part, only they're much stronger.

Kartboy's bushing endlinks work, but I can't imagine the bushings are happy during extreme compression or extension of the suspension. They're asked to flex quite a bit. Furthermore, they rely on lubrication to permit motion- there is no bearing.

Basically, the whole Cobb versus Kartboy thing comes down to a bushing versus a bearing. A bearing is better, but more expensive.

But they only need to resist stretching, and stamped steel should do that fine.

I'll reimburse you for the fender braces from TiC if you don't notice a difference.
