it's all good - I saw your post and fixed it right away...
I just tossed that on here forgetting it was still linked to your site... sorry

no doubt that was a funny one though - nothing like a smoke and a pancake... and a bunny?

they are still $135 shipped... only 1 set left! ::bunny sold separately::

What the hell causes this end link to bend? Could it be jacking up the car at a bad angle? Dealers don't wanna warranty this!

does it happen no matter where you place the jack?

nhluhr thanx for the heads up. They should have put that in the owners manual or something. SOA should be responsible for replacing these.

cnstman I'm guessing if you jack it from the center (where the rear differential is) you should be fine, since both sides of the suspension are being lifted at the same time.

good to know, thanks. i just got my hotchkis street set, and have to wait a bit for endlinks. will the stockers hold up for a couple of months? i only plan on using the middle setting on the rear bar. also, is flipping a problem with the hotchkis beefier mounts?

thanks!

MHO wait and do everything at once. The stock ones should hold up fine if you don't jack it up wrong or take any steap driveways. But i would wait .

I've only heard of the stock ones flipping and bending the links.

I do not know that this problem is as common as some of you believe, I have had mine jacked up, one wheel at a time, and airborne, no flipping found.

have you taken some steep inclines at an angle where the rear inside wheel is off the ground then back on? just asking cause i take one of those at least 1-2 times a week.

thanks

the street kit is built specifically to run with the stock equipment - the rear bar is not as stiff as the competition kit, which includes the endlinks...

you will be fine installing the kit without endlinks, but I would only recommend running the stiffest setting for autox or some other competitive driving...

I believe the main reason for the flipping bars is more due to the bar itself rather than the endlinks, even though they are weaker than they should be
