Default need help with my rear strut bar install

ok i got an 07 and i need help with knowing a lil more about how to intall this strut bar like i know where it goes but i always appreciate help like are there any torque specs on the bolts when i tighten down i can't seem to get enough info on this atm

I've been told 16#...those bolts are very plasticky and easy to shear off

Remove back seat and if you can't work around them, remove the seatbelt tensioners. The strut nuts are like 16lbs max tq. Never gonna be able to put a tq wrench on there so tighten them slowly and snug up.

yeah with mine i just tightened them until they were snug and then drove for a few days and went back and gave each another turn if it needed it.

kk thanks i got it in good idea i'll check it again after a couple of days whew that was a pain in my arse i never thought a strut bar could be soo difficult thanks again for the help

u could always get a wagon and swap your sti into it and then it will make installing that strut bar easy (kidding) I'd be jealous if you had a wagon STi

lol if i wanted a wagon i would just get the 08' sti lol
