05+ owners; How long do your wheel bearings last? - Page 3

05 STi with 83,000 miles. Everyday is a track day! I drive 80 miles per day for work. A LOT of mountian runs and 1 track day. Also I have hit a deer and hit a pot hole big/hard enough to bend my Prodrive GC-05 wheel, mushroom my Ohlin's Flagseries camber plate, bend my Ti Cusco strut brace, and slightly bend the tower. All without my wheel bearings failing.

I think I posted in here yesterday about not having changed my bearings out yet. I was driving to the car wash today after work and I could kind of hear a grinding noise coming from the wheels. Took it to the dealer under my after market warranty and it will have new bearings as of tomorrow free of charge.

Guess I have to drive the Legacy to work tomorrow.

What do you mean aftermarket warranty is that some sort of extended warranty.

My 04 STi: 4 sets of wheel bearings in a summer, changed to the 05+ hubs and no more problems, 06 STi ~30+ track days same set of front WB, replaced the rears as I had 1 failure on the track (bad day)...
