first off, don't get the tein's. search and find out why

second,

8 hours? hellen keller could install springs in less time. It takes me 3 hours to do without air tools and a lift. i would find someone to help you install them yourself, it's not hard.

In trying to be a cheapskate... I put the S-tech's on my car. The ride height looks fantastic, but everything else sucks. I swore after my last 2 cars I would never change springs without getting shocks as well, and here I am with a bloody fast car that can wipe itself around the next 3 lamp posts if you hit a big bump on the way around the off ramp.

The car is too bouncy... and it's not only because the car is too low and hitting the bump stops. There is just not enough rebound control in the stock shocks to keep the car under control.

If you still want springs, look on e-bay as there are many sets under $200.
It takes 2 hours to install 4 springs, but you can do coilovers in almost the same amount of time.

8 hours?! Our normal time for Tony is 2 hours, and I think we cut that down to 45 minutes one time with the two of us working and one other tossing tools back and forth.

Where are you located? I may be able to point you to a Subaru specific shop that is good and realistic.

8 hours?

dude, fly me out and put me up in a hotel and it will be cheaper than paying this guy for 8 hours @ $90/hour.
