Default Uneven ride height/wheel-fender gap!?

A few days ago I got a few loud clunks from the right rear fender area while slowly parking in a not so level parking space. Today I noticed the passenger side of the car is about a finger length higher than the drivers side(front and rear). I don't have time to lift it and investigate until tomorrow night, just looking for advice/opinions.

I installed prodrive springs about two months ago, but otherwise stock suspension.

It's typical. Your struts don't carry the same weight on both sides. The fact you changed something on the suspension may have made you more aware of this as even on stock suspension there is a difference.

Check the swaybar links, one may have flipped.

yup - actually pretty common among lowered cars. Pain in the ass.

If your under 3/36 warranty, the dealership might take care of it (probably should)...if not its time for some kartboy endlinks and a set of sways if your really wanna enjoy driving

I'd aim for the "do it yourself" approach...somehow I doubt the dealer is going to be too warm to fixing this under warranty...

+1. The car naturally sits a bit lower on the driver side. I wouldn't get too paranoid until you look under the car. If you had bent the endlinks, I would think you would have noticed shortly after the install, not a couple months later.

check the replies above...endlink was snapped. everything was fine until the other day when I had the loud 'clunk' sound then noticed the uneven gap.

Sorry. I thought people were still speculating. I guess this was your confirmation that the drivers side endlink snapped?

The dealer probably wouldn't pin it directly on the springs, but basically the install "caused" the endlink to flip. They may fix it once out of goodwill and the fact that it is a somewhat common issue - sounds like it is posible to flip it just jacking up a stock car. (Though personally I have had my car up in the air dozens of times, with various springs, and have never had an issue.)

That said, I would just throw something aftemarket on there rather than messing with the dealer, it is a cheap and easy swap.
