Question Looking for an all around better suspesnion system for 04 STI

I have and 04 STI and Im looking to install a better over all around suspension kit. I want to be able to take the road course and keep up with the competion but at the same time, if i run across a dirt road, i dont want to be scared of completly bottoming out and jacking up the car. I would really appreciate some advice on what i can get. The more specific you can get the better. I appreciate the help in advance

thats one hell of a first post. I would suggest looking around a bit and seeing what others are running. theres a lot of other variables that go into it. How much you want to spend, how serious you want to be. How often you drive your car ect.

This is a bit of a tough one considering it's one or the other. There are quite a few threads regarding this issue, but in all it really comes down to what you're seeking out of the vehicle and $$$.

Since you may hit the dirt road...it would definitely not be wise to go overtly low.

Regarding your circumstances, I believe I nice set-up with a nice $$ tag would be a Koni/RCE Black combo...or even Koni/Prodrive with Group-N top hats.

Being your car is an 04, you're quite fortunate to use Koni shocks in the factory housing. This job is mediocre at most and entails cutting the strut and inserting the new Koni in...assemble and VOILA! here's a thread with more info on the install...

Koni Install

Price for Koni=$600
RCE Black Springs-$300
Group-N top hats-$350

Good luck and search is your friend!

Don't forget sways and endlinks!

Kind Regards,
Ryan
