anyway when you guys are pulling in and out of tight spots, doing u-turns, or any slow speed tight corner, you should be lifting up on your e-brake slightly. Pull up to one click or less and it will open your diffs allowing your wheels to spin freely and not bind.
100% Myth.

No STI can fully open the center diff. Even if you were to cut the electrical harness to the center diff, it would STILL be a 35/65 (04-05) or 41/59 (06-07) split. All the controller does is control how fast the diff begins to lock when tires start slipping.

BAHAHAHAHAH! Ok, technically you're
correct, we can't 100% open the diffs. However, if you think my advice is not worthy of merrit (on a functional level) than you are missing out. Bottom line, do a tight turn w/o pulling up on the e-brake and you will hear the diffs bind and feel it. Same turn with e-brake slightly up and you get no noise or feel from the diffs.

I'm pretty sure it's the same thing as clicking the manual switch and having the roller set to "open"
