Default Just installed KW V3 Some ?????

Well Last weekend i installed some Kw variant coilovers and have just a couple questions. I installed them onto a 04 sti and everything went very smootly. The only other suspension mods that i have is 24mm whiteline sways front and rear. When I installed them i used the stock top hats.

Alight well anyways i have a slight clunk type of noise from the rear when i go over small bumps at lower speeds. It is definitly a new noise so i think for sure it is the coilovers. I have already checked all the mounts and everything is tight. I actually torqued everything to factory specs so all the bolts are tight. Anyways is this normal for those that have coilovers.

The one other thing is that when i go up driveways (like just pulling into parking lots and normal places that you enter during normal everyday driving one wheel will lift off of the ground. Obiously the wheel changes depending on which way i am turning. I now that this is normal cause even stock it would do this. But the only thing that has changed is that i am getting some noise from the drivetrain when a wheel lifts and i proceed forward. The way that i can get the noise not to happen is if i lock out the center differential. Well any input on who ever has expierence with these noises and just let me know if these are normal...

My car has 39000 miles and has been maintained to the highest standards and has never been lauched so i dont think their is anything wrong with the drivetrain. Anyways thanks for the Input and by the way i love the coilovers.

The drivetrain clunking with tire lift is pretty common, not much that can be done about that. You are porbably noticing it more with the new coilovers because they have reduced droop travel.

As far as the clunk in the rear, be sure to check that the rear strut top bolts are completely tight since it can be hard to really cinch those down well. Another place to check is the rear swaybar endlinks which will clunk around if they are even a little loose.

Thanks for the response... Yea everything is tight and the endlinks are tight for sure cause i check and torqued those when i installed the coilovers. Anyways i got a PM from Myles at RCE and he told me some thing that i could check out so i am going to try that and see what happens. Thanks for the info..

How much did they run you if you do not mind me asking? Looking into a practically brand new set of them and was trying to see if the offer is decent.
