Default KW V3 extended adjusters

has anyone ever made extended adjuster for the KW v3 coilovers like what AST has for theirs. You know the knobs that come over the back seat so I don't have to remove my seat everytime I want to change something up.
I'm still setting my car up as I just got the coilovers installed today so I'm sure things will have to be changed

YAY! Myles, I've been waiting for something like this to come around...actually I was going to go ahead and develop something myself...but since you're doing all the work... JK.

Do keep us updated!

Kind Regards,
Ryan

I fabricated such an extender myself.

I took a short piece of hex key and cut it off. I then drilled out the end of 1/4" bendable plastic rod and glued the hex key into the end. This end goes into the strut top adjuster. I then drilled an extended hole in the back deck cover behind the seat. The plastic rod bends slightly to come out behind the seatback. I then glued a sprinkler knob to the top which extends 1.5" above the seatback (and labelled +/-).

It works really well allowing full adjustment without removing the seatback.

I need to do that.

FWIW, it's a 2mm hex. Myles, let me know if you cook something up before I do.

Are these going to be handed out retroactively to existing RCE T2 owners?

No I couldnt really do that, I wish and since its NOT a KW thing as in they support it and make it happen it would just be a "moving forward" thing. ..as in it would rolled into the price of new T2's.........but I can make sure that its no more than what it cost to make it.

I will definitely buy a set of these once they're available for my Tarmac 2's. They would save me from lots of hassle!

I am very interested in the extended adjusters. I too will be interested in purchasing some when they become available.

Hey guys. I have done this already. Aluminum tube and knob with soldered in hex wrench at the end. Have a buddy that fabricated it for me. Check out my thread:

Check out my prototype coilover adjusters and lend some advice...

Myles, thought I told you about this already?

Wow, that is a nice design. How is your adjusting holding up? Have you had problems with the hex key moving when the car is in motion?
