Default Suspension gurus please help!

I have been looking for answers to these ?'s for a few days with no luck:

The REAR struts from an '05 will bolt right up to my '04. Yes/no?

Should be able to swap '05 FRONT cartridges into my '04 front strut housings?

Also, is there any difference between prodrive springs for an '04 and '05 STI?

Thanks all

Rear struts will work.

Yup, cartridges should fit fine.

Yes, the 04 spec was way too soft (softer than your stock springs according to some). You'll want the 05 spec.

One thing is for certain, when an 06-07 clunks in the rear its not the same sound as the 04-05 clunk. Its a much more subtle sound, and it can be eliminated easier also.

So, is taking off the bottom nut off the strut to repack the grease essentially all I need to know to switch out the cartridges, or is there more to it?

well yeah but of course you have to disassemble the rears first..and then yeah remove those nuts. There is another thread that shows this around here.
