Default Prodrive springs, now thinking going lower

greetings,

I've an 07 STI and for about the past 10 months I've been riding on the Prodrive Springs. They eliminate the compression and rebound issues on the stock springs. The only issue is I'm thinking I can easily drop the car another inch. I don't think I want to go coilover as this is a DD. Perhaps just another spring as comfortable and functional as the Prodrives just about 1/2 to 1 inch lower.

Sincerely,
Jason

im not sure you're going to find such a thing. If anything, look at the RCE Blacks.

Just get RCE lowering camber plates in the front and call it done.

What makes you think that? An inch lower and you will have used up over two-thirds of your bump travel at ride height. (Your Prodrive springs already rest the car on those included bump stops.)

I have no way to back this up other than I did the install myself, but I highly doubt the prodrives are making me and everyone else ride on the prodrive bumpstops. The stock ones maybe

I did the same thing, installed prodrives and wanted a lower drop. Switched to RCE yellows and am a lot happier, actually the front still sits a little high. Considering the lowering plates only lower 3/8's of an inch, I don't think that'll solve the OP's issue.

I'm going to be putting my prodrives on very soon, and will also be putting the RCE lowering camber plates on as well. I can take pictures when the install is done if you would like.

The Prodrive bump stops are barely shorter than stock- just a small fraction of an inch different in length. They feel better because of the different rate of the bump stop, not because they are shorter.

I guess 1/4" is a fraction... I wouldn't say it is insubstantial. The tapered portion is mostly void iirc.
