you would need the 6gun 5x100 to 5x114.3 swap kit. the kit is around $1000, and good luck finding a rb320 kit.

you could try tokico d-specs, koni inserts, or ohlins fps. pm racecomp engineering for info.

You can probably get RB320 thru Cosworth, as they have recently announced themselves as the new Prodrive North American distributor.

You can get the kit for a measly 2700 bucks.

Why do you want the RB320 kit so badly? I wonder if the guts from the RB320 struts would swap over to the 04 sti strut housings?

I like Prodrive too, but we're talking major dough. Do the 5 x114 for more than just that suspension. You know you need new wheels with that, right?

yes, to make the rb320 a direct swap, you need to swap both the front and rear. while you're at it, you should buy a set of prodrive wheels.

Why not just get Ohlins fixed perch with RCE blacks? That is just what I put on my 04 and it is a really amazing setup.

The rears will bolt up just fine.

The fronts will need a thicker 05+ STi style upright on the knuckle. The only reasonable way to achieve this is using the OEM 05 STi knuckle, which will require you to use 05 hubs , which we machine with a 5x100 pattern. You will also need an ABS adapter which comes in our kit.

Our typical kit machines both the hub for 5x100 and the knuckle for 04STi style struts. You would only need the hub machined so your total hub kit would be less than the typical kit.

The un-reasonable way to convert would be to plug and redrill the top hole on your existing knuckles. Then have some spacers fabricated (with the 05 upright hole spacing) that would mount on both sides of the 04 style uprights and have the same thickness as the 05 style uprights. This custom machining would likely be very close to the cost of our kit (which would also give you far better bearings) and would likely be functional but of less strength / rigidity vs starting with the 05 style knuckles.

Hope this helps.

Tony its a close swap actually. Maybe a hair more work than a koni in a sti housing.............but you and I are thinking the same way......
