Default Will Bilstein PSS9 work with Gram Light 57F on 05

Just picked up a set of PSS9s and wondering if I may have a problem with my summer wheels which are Gram Light 57F 18x8.5 +45 offset. The tires are 245 40 bridgestone RE050A I think. This setup would be on an 05 STI obviously. I went with these due to some reports they are very comfortable on the softest setting but can be stiffened up for some HPDE stuff in my future. This will be my first set of coilovers so I am not sure what to expect really.

You shouldn't have a problem at all. Sounds like a nice setup.

I tried to do my research on here and I really haven't come up with much in terms of reviews of these things. It's funny because they are a top notch brand, great price, and readily available. The few people that I have seen with them sold them months later. Neither major forum has many reviews of these on Subaru's but if I wander over to a BMW or VW board these things are like JDM pinks to us. What gives?

They came to the Subaru market a little late when a lot of people have already invested in other options. There are quite a few people on here who run PSS9s.

I am pretty sure Pete G autoxes that exact setup

Not 100% sure on the wheel width tho. I believe he liked his setup the last time I talked to him.

Buttdyno's right, I have that exact setup on my '06 seen above. I currently run 235/40 Azenis 615's with no issues. 245's should fit with no problems. I've had the setup for about a year now with no issues.

Got em but one had to be sent back to Bilstein for repair. This is apparently a slow process as it has been there for at least 2 weeks and haven't heard a word from them yet. When it comes back I will need to find out where I should install the spring perches for best performance at a reasonable ride height. I would prefer a non-slammed setup so I will try for as close to Prodrive or Pinks height. Any info on perch height or is it a trial and error thing, then go get it properly aligned and corner balanced?
