Default What went wrong with my sway/endlink install?

I installed my whiteline sways with Kartboy endlinks and now have some major clunking at slow speeds. I looked underneath and it looks like the bushings came out of the endlink. Did i do something wrong? What do I do Please look at the pics they show passenger side rear, the worst of the two sides, but the driver side is just about the same.

At the time of install you needed to use spacers so that the endlinks line up properly and are vertical when the car is on the ground. Did you possibly hit something?

Looks like you didn't use the large washers on the outsides of the bushings.

Yeah, that don't look right man. There has to be something keeping those bushings in. Good luck with it.

The large flat washer on the trailing link should have been on the bolt head. It appears to me that the bolt head has pulled through the bushing. Time to get new bushings and redo the link install.

I wasn't aware of any spacers. TiC never mentioned that I might need them when I ordered the parts. Do I need spacers than? Are my endlink bushings gonna need to be replaced? It's like they pulled out of the endlink. Will just moving the washers so they are between the bolt head and bushing be enough?

Because you don't use the spacers on the rear. That guy is wrong.

You need to capture the bushings with a washer or they will squeeze over the head of the bolt like you have there.

My bad on the "spacers." It apparently is washers that are missing.

Yep - washers. Spacers are for the front.

I talked to him on the phone this morning and he's going to let me know how many replacement bushings he needs so I can get those out to him.

Yeah, Clint called me today and told me the deal. I'm an idiot and did not realize the washers were to be installed on either side of the bushings. Hey, I'm Polish and had no instructions!
