Note that people have slippage issues with camber plates as often as with camber bolts. Neither is foolproof.

Williaty I rarely have heard of camber plates slipping compared to bolts. Do you have any proof or is this based on your own experience.

Not on my own experience, but on the fact that there have been enough threads about camber plates slipping on here and on NASIOC in the least couple of years to realize that it happens.

In fact, I'm pretty sure there's at least on active thread on here right now about it (it's not a thread about slippage though, it just came up). I can't for the life of me remember what it was actually about.

One of the gurus chimed in and said "yeah, we know, blue loctite is pretty much required for camber plates if you're going to track them".

Crap, sounds like going to the stock bolts is what I need to do. Now, my understanding is that if the bolts are thicker than you get less camber adjustment. The only reason I got those ingals is because they give me -2deg. Do the H&R's have the same??

Also, how rough does the car get when slapping camber plates on it? Is it significant or is it about the same? I looked into getting a set of the RCE ones but then started worrying about my ride because it looked like the car would drive a lot rougher on the street.

I've had ingalls bolts for around 2 years now, only had the rear passenger side slip .10 just last year. Otherwise mine have stayed at the same -2.1 in the fronts, and -1.8 in the rears the whole time.

Do you track your car a lot or at all? I never slip on the street either but right after my first session on the track I can visually see that the camber went to crap.

I'd be really interested to know if the passenger side really moved or not. I've gotten numbers 0.2* different just by going to a different shop 2 blocks down the street (got curious and did it to compare one day).

The change was with the same shop, but yes, had a few autox's on that, and lots of daily fun on on ramps, but thats about it sadly enough
