Default Whiteline G4 Coilovers Install Question

Ok just got back from the install...they came from the previous owner with the wrx tops and we put sti group n tops. No prob with the front but the rears didnt "mate up right" almost as if somethings missing and theres a really nastly clacking sound from the rears any time i go over a bump. Should i put the old wrx tops back on or is there something i need to put in there? They have the racing springs.

Also my buddy didnt have the "special tool" to adjust the ride height so we went with whatever the wrx owner had. Is there a special tool?

Aside from that the ride quality is AMAZING, even with my stock sti sway bars. Gone is all that chattery-ness. We also did whiteline steering bushings which of course helps.

Mike

sounds like the previous set up was a version 7 WRX and you have a 04 and later car. So the adaptor needed is different. I used to have some of those, but dont any longer. See if Clint at TIC can get you something to work, but yes for the time being, go back to what the previous had. The amount of flex in the rear is alot less than the front so the need for group-n mouts isnt as much, but yes still a upgrade none the less.

ENjoy your setup.
