There's actually quite a bit of movement from the rubber deflecting.

I wouldn't worry about one spin around the block unless your block includes potholes and you bounced it off the curbs trying to hit every apex.

I will say though that it would be great for stepping the back end out until something broke.

edit: you know the more I think about it if that upper perch isn't hard bolted or stacked between the strut top and the pillow ball then most likely what will happen is the strut shaft will pivot, the upper perch will slip, and slap the spring and perch against the shaft. Not really catastrophic failure, but would be enough to scratch up the shaft and junk the damper.

If Tein doesn't come through do you have some calipers? If you do, and you're willing to work with us I may have a solution for depending on spring ID and stud OD at the top of the shaft.

To the OP: if that doesnt work,...then let me know. I know you just bought those thinking this would work. I could find a home for them.

Either way, you will be fine. I think Clint might have something up his sleeve.

Heck, if my first idea doesn't work I've got my upper perches off the old zeals that might do the trick. They won't be pretty, but they'll do what they need to.

I do have calipers. Ill measure them tomorrow. Also, if the Zeals fit...I dont care what they look like really...all I care about is functionality.

i know this thread's a littttle old lol, but I'm going through the same dilemma right now with Noltec camber plates.. so did you just order the rear spring perches to fix the problem?
