So what is you opinion about the ride? I have been looking at these for the last 8-9 months but just have trouble dropping that kinda cash on a car that i may not keep. Are they really worth it?

To be honest, when I first read about this kit, i started believing that it was a soft, BMW like ride. Cushiony, but still stiff enough to offer a performance feel.

In the 500 miles I've driven so far on it, my opinion that its not as soft as its been made out to be. While the bone shattering jolts are gone, along with the uber-bouncy bobble head (there is still alot to be desired as a result of the crappy seats), road imperfections are still very evident. But the car feels much more composed over these imperfections. I'm also running a 22mm Cusco rear sway on the middle setting.

Its miles above the stock setup, but don't expect a bmw 5 series ride. Keep in mind too that I've never been in an STi with another type of suspension. So I can't compare it to other setups like Ohlins or coilovers.

if you lived near me, I would install Recaro's in your car for a day and you opinion would change like 1000% !!

As you know, SOOOOOOOOOOOO much of it ( like yousaid) is in the seats. Those stock seats are like soggy socks in 500.00 shoes.

That is, quite honestly, the same impression I had when riding on the Ohlins FP and JDM Pink combo. I was expecting a much softer ride, but it wasn't the magic bullet I had read it to be.

Don't get me wrong, I'm in no way disappointed with this setup. But you're right, there was a lot of talk that this was God's Gift to suspension when this kit was first released. Its a fantastic setup, but I think the comments led people to believe that you could drive thru a 3 ft pothole and not even notice. There's no doubt about it, this is a performance kit, not a luxury kit.

How much did you pay for it?Where have you bought it, in US?Does it include rear anti roll bar?I ordered mine directly from UK Prodrive with rear anti roll bar.I am very happy with that kit.It would be stupid to think that with this kit the ride will be much softer and comfortable! We have pure sport car not a limousine so it will be hard on the bumps what ever you do, but the ride is a little bit improved now that is for sure! You cant notice that to much on the city roads but on a highway it is the most noticible.Smother ride a little bit definitely, but the biggest improvment is while driving it hard through the corners and that is the most important thing! So if you are buying this kit for improved performance definitely go for it, if you are going to buy it beacuse you want much comfortable ride...dont...but ofcourse that is my opinion, maybe someone else impressions about this kit are different

I went to prodrive uk web site and concated them via e-mail and they answered in a few days.I've found something that RB320 kit for US market doesnt include anti roll bar.Their RB320 kit ( UK version ) have Bistein gas shock absorbers and Eibach springs with rear anti roll bar that has street and track settings ( 2 holes at the end of the bar) it was approx 1300punds with shipment from UK to Serbia via UPS.That is the same thing that real RB320 has.It took only a few days to arrive. It is expensive but that was the only way for me to get that kit. They also have PPP1 ( Prodrive performance pack stage 1 ) and it includes ECU remap, high capacity fuel pump and Prodrive rear muffler. It is 1100punds with shipment via UPS

Yep, Prodrive said they ran in to many requests to opt out of the rollbar since many people had taken other optional bars already. It was a 22mm solid bar that was 2-way adjustable as you said.

The kit went for $1999 USD here in the states without the roll bar.

Well if it costs 1300punds with shipment to Serbia with roll bar then the kit alone isnt much expensive than in USA

Was not aware they made one. They used the stock front of the UK/JDM, they just made the 22mm rear one according to the Prodrive thread on Nasioc.
