Default 2004-2007 STi Aftermarket Springs Rate and Drop

This used to be a .jpg file that was hosted elsewhere and hosts come and go so I've decided to just type this out so it won't get lost again. This also allows for easier editing in the future as more releases and knowledge are attained.

No notation indicates best guess from experience

All drops are indicated as referenced to Stock 2004/2005 STi. When applied to a 2006/2007 STi, the front drop will be slightly less and the rear drop will be slightly more.

Stock Ride Height is measured as 386F/363R. See service manual for standard method of measurement.

All springs are progressive except Ground Control. Final Rate near end of strut travel is specified table value. Some are less progressive than others and may feel 'stiffer'.

No problem, I've been meaning to do this for over a year now ever since it got taken down by a former member and Niveks link went dead.

It just seemed like with all the spring questions that get posted here (although it seems we've moved on to coilovers as a community, haha) that there should be a FAQ or chart to show what the specs are on them all. Here's that missing piece for the community.

Oh there are still tons of spring questions. A good companion to the above post might be a Stretch "do they coil bind?" column.

I tried to gather all of the suspension knowledge in one place in a sticky here in the suspension forum but I simply don't have the time or the knowledge to maintain it.

Here's the list I put together for the NASIOC Lowering Spring FAQ:
Google Docs - Shocks/struts

Just in case I have something you don't (or vice versa)

thanks twisties for making the list, it will be invaluable to many in the future i'm sure.

I just realized that I always called my Arai springs Pinks. I didn't notice the difference until now. Who would have thought? I'm a noob! I sold them as pinks too.

Swift Spec R updates...
04/05 rates from their website are different. Perhaps changed?

Front 285 / Rear 275
