35% if memory serves
RCE v2 yellows def are a nice addition.

Wish I had more time to drive her <less 5500 miles on the odod right now>.
I keep contemplating selling her but I just cant bring myself to do it.
I love this car.

Also in terms of the Eibacks I beleive Eibach makes springs for Prodrive. I am pretty sure they are similar. I have had Prodrives and while they took away some bobble and were a tad bit better handling than stock, they were not as aggressive as the RCE's. Prodrives only lower the 06 10mm which is like nothing from an aesthetic standpoint and despite what people will tell you the 06 simply have more front wheels gap and no one will tell me otherwise despite all the pie charts and graphs I have seen

Search Button is your friend

This is one of the few sites where people actually leave the childish crap at home and spit some serious knowledge that is useful to almost anyone with a STI related question.

Happy hunting...

How much rougher than stock are they?? Also is the handling that much better with the yellows than stock? Is my money going to be well spent?

they are more harsh than stock but the handling is that much better too. there is a tradeoff...comfort vs. performance. Prodrives give a much better ride but the RCE's have much better performance.

I could argue these make the car feel more connected and also work well with my set up. I personally dont think they are that much more harsh than Prodrives but thats me.
Apples and oranges.
No one is right or wrong it just depends on what YOU consider to be your threshold of balance between performance and comfort.

Trust me Myles is on point with this stuff and is not afraid to shoot you straight on what will work.

Thing is we can bench race all day long.

IMO go directly to the source so you can formulate your own opinion and be satisified with what you have or plan to purchase.

My 2 cents.

After years of having JDmPinks and PRodrive and Arai springs, I wanted to develope a spring that:
A. had a closer ratio of front to rear rates, with attention to the rear.

B. targeted the autocross/trackday budget minded enthusiast who wouldnt mind sacrificing some comfort for "close to" coilover performance.

C. level ride height that barely mimmicks the "kool" look, without going below the magic 14.0/13.5 ride height and functionality.

D. Cost less than the JDM STI Pinks which cost 399.00.

That was it.

Later the blacks filled the gap with less drop, close to the same rate and not so boy racer-ish color that could blend in at the dealership and not get your warranty voided by some power hungry service manager who's daughter was killed by a "fast and furious" type street racing.( true story).

^Are you serious lol? Read ONE post up.

Myles, why such a drop in the rear? That's truly my only complaint in regards to the Yellows. I think for a performance oriented spring, it's a great, great setup on Ohlins (or stuck struts... no experience there though) for the track and the street. It's just that fat track tire selection gets a bit dicey since there's more risk of rubbing in the rear due to the really low ride height.

Anyway, just wondering
<-- feels no sadness about ride height

No worries. The actual stock car has almost a 1inch difference between front and rear. So we closed that gap and made the car MORE level than stock which helps the issue you are talking about. We are not alone in our thinking also. If we did it with front to rear being the same..the rear would be higher since our cars start out with the nose in the air.

lol........

jk.

Yellows lower the car to 14.0/13.5 ( so 24/20mm drop) 295/275 rates

Blacks lower the car to 14.5/14.0 ( so a 15/10mm drop) 285/269 rates.
