Can you give me an example of the extrusion I'd be hunting for?

I don't have a specific one but it looks like this.

eBay Motors: Subaru Impreza WRX Fender Cowl Braces (item 8062946423 end time Mar-24-08 10:24:19 PDT)

Just try and look up Alcoa aluminum extrusions and get something similar.

Per the PM, shoot me over some dimensions and pictures and I would be more than glad to model it.

What about these? You'll probably need detailed dimensions but I'll have to send them to you later if you plan to model them. The thickness at the center and holes was like 3mm. And they are Al 6061 T4.

I designed them and had them fabricated. They were a prototype set to evaluate fit, finish and manufacturing quality. Unfortunately, the costs would have placed these in the ~$200 range and RCE thought there where just too many cheaper versions on the market to compete. If I where to go on my own making these I would have to make a high production run and would incur in some risk if I can't move them, but I do have the CAD design and could easily place an order for more. I'm sure they'll look pretty in blue if you model them.

what about the creative works ones, they look like the STI ones, but are machined from a billet of Aluminum ?
