Default Cusco E-Con question

Installed my Zero 2es the other day and am trying to get around to installing the motors for the e-con. For those of you that have done one of these, is there any particular setting the coilovers need to be at for the motors to go on? If the dampening knob just spins, how do the motors read what setting they are on? Thanks in advance for any help.

I believe the knobs should be set to 1 before you mount the motors.

For anybody else who may have this question, this is indeed the case.

Just got my E-con earlier this week. Looking at instructions... sorry I don't read japanese. I'm no rocket scientist but I can figure out that the black wire in the diagram with the loopie thing is ground. But can anyone tell me what the other two wires go to. There's one that looks like two wires spliced together with a fuse and only one wire comes out. Then theres a white wire (Just going by the diagram in the instructions. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
