Ok I know the pinks are good and work with the stock struts on the STI. I look at the Eibachs and the spring rate is lower than stock...is this good? I want a set of springs that don't cost as much as the pinks...lower the car...maybe a tiny bit stiffer and won't blow my struts in the long run....so far I have looked at the Espilar(<sp) springs, Eibach prokit, perrin and prodrive

as good as the opinions of fellow STi owners are, i personally would get in contact with a few manufacturers, tell them my desired characteristics such as ride height and how i will use my car. i use my car alot in "off-pavement" situations so i would require a differant spring than someone who AutoX's every weekend. most manufacterers are more than pleased to help select the ideal spring for a customer. its good business and better than having customers pick out the wrong springs and be unhappy.

Default new tanabe racing exhaust sounds?

I'm very happy with the Espelir GT springs.....daily driving is much more comfortable, body roll is reduced significantly, the springs aren't so highly sprung that they overpower the stock shocks (in fact, this feels like the 'right' ratio), the drop doesn't look "lowered" but the reduction of wheel gap in the front makes a significant difference in the appearence of the car.

Springs rates higher than the pinks for 2/3 the cost...
