IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2005 Trader Rating: (1) | Hey guys.. and gals, I installed my BC racing BR coilovers about 1 month ago, tightened everything down, set the height, and got an alignment. The coilovers were quiet until about 200 miles into it when the rear passenger side coilover started to make a clunking noise over bump.. I checked all the bolts and everything is tight. I gave the that strut a more preload but that didnt solve the problem. I set the preload the exact length as the drivers side, which isnt clunking, and that didnt solve the problem. I changed the preload again to where the upper collar is snug against the spring as to where I can turn the springs by hand but no vertical movement.. and still no dice Im thinking I have a bad strut.. any thoughts guys? thanks jawwad This ad is not endorsed by this member.
