Steering Rack Bushings

I am looking to replace my steering rack bushings on my 2004 sti...and i was wondering what the difference was between the 25mm and the 30mm. The place that carrys them by my house has both and im not sure which ones to get. And any other things i should know before i install these.

hey if your supplier can't tell if they are for 2004 then don't get them. Get the whiteline bushings online. 2005 has different bushings btw.

This should only be one size, go with the whiteline KSR202

Drop the rack...don't bother cursing at the rack and trying to squeeze the driver side busing in with brute force.

if you can't find them, try TurnInConepts.com, they are free shipping and has one of the best prices on the market, might even be cheaper than the place you are shoipping and will definitely get the correct part.

Patience on the driver's side, have a friend to help you pull and tug on the A/C lines and anything that's in the way, go slow and you'll be fine.

well i picked them up at the local shop thanks to that part number in an above post.... Install went smooth took about 30 minutes start to finish.

. love how they feel. thanks for the help with the part number.

i do have a bunch of 04+ sti whiteline steering rack bushings, i wouldnt mind getting outta here...

could have sworn the OP started this thread for the 04 STi model not 05 !
