IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | Hey Guys, I have swift springs on stock struts with whiteline front and rear 24mm adjustable sways set to the stiff setting on my 06 STI. I believe the swift sport springs are only 30 ft/lb stiffer then the stock springs but i am really noticing a harsh ride on the freeway, to the point where my back is hurting from all the bouncing. Are these springs really supposed to be this harsh of a ride? Thanks for your input, -Knight This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

| Authorized Vendor | That's odd. In our testing of them we were actually pretty happy with them. I'm going to need more details on your friends car before I can lend any credibility on it just being the springs. |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2006 Trader Rating: (7) | i'm running the same sways/springs as the OP WITH cut bump stops, the ride is stiff but i was expecting that, i'm pretty sure the bouncy ride has been settled on the seats (which is what i've got) overall it's worth it to me for the on/off ramps and occasional autoxedit, my setup isn't 100% the same, i've got the 27-9mm front bar and 22-6 rear close enough i spose |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | Bump stops were cut during the install. The ride is slowly getting worse, which makes me think the struts are starting to wear out faster the normal. I think it just might be too much spring for the stock struts. I agree also that the seats are bouncy as hell, they need to invent a shock for the seat springs =) |

| Authorized Vendor | Hmmmm... that's interesting. Are you active in the local Subaru group? I'm wondering if you can cross compare to some others cars in your area that have similar spring rates... |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2006 Trader Rating: (6) | I had them with Group-N rears and RCE (nonloweringlol) plates up front and cobb sways. It was a bit stiff but, but I think they are a great spring and perform well. However, if your back is hurting you maybe some softer springs would help. Or new seats! |

| Spec C Club | I would get new seats. The seats are the killer when it comes to pain .. After that get some nice DD coilovers such as the BC Racing ones .. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
