Default 6 gun ball joint extender install

I just got these installed.

2 questions:

1. Are the ball joint extenders supposed to be different for left and right? I noticed they are identical for left and right and what happens is the bolt direction will be opposite for each side because of this. Not a big deal, but I figure if 6 gun is going thru the trouble of designing the end all of ball joint extenders, would it have cost THAT MUCH MORE to tool a left and a right?

2. What is the torque spec for the nut for the tie rod ball joint at the tie rod side? This is the big huge one that requires a 24mm socket. What I did was torque the castle nut to 20 lbft, then tightened a little more so the holes for the cotter pin lined up... and then tightened the 24mm nut until the castle nut started to move... I COULD tighten it a bit more in theory by holding the castle nut still with a 19mm wrench... what do u guys think?

3. A consequence of this mod is that the front swaybar endlinks need to be extended... otherwise, full droop is not possible... right now, I need to jack up the front LCA assembly so the hole for the endlink lines up... I noticed most people just seem to keep the stock endlinks or whatever ones came with their swaybar... I currently have the COBB, but I am tempted to get the Poltec adjustable ones now. Thoughts?

1) It won't matter which way the bolt threads in as it's not going to interfere with anything.

2) That sounds right for the tie-rod.

3) This is not a problem we had. Are you reinstalling the endlinks with the suspension loaded?

1) Yes, but for appearance sake, it would look better if there was a L or R. I'm just a perfectionist in that way . So just to confirm, there is NOT a L or R... I was not accidently sent two Rights?

3) Actually, scratch that... once I put it on ramps, I was able to install them no problem... but before, I would install unloaded and then torque loaded... whereas now I have to install AND torque while loaded.

I just did the install and was thinking all the same things...

One question I still have about the 24mm nut on the bottom of the tie rod end, why is there no lock nut or lock washer? It seems to me like it could vibrate off quite easily. I added a little blue Loctite, but I feel a better solution may be better to use a lock washer, locking nut or a jam nut. I am gonna stop by the hardware store and buy two extra nuts to jam them together. Better safe than sorry. Maybe this should be addressed in future shipments of the kit?

Anyway, my two bits. :-)
