The only gripe I have about such products is they look like they will effect the ability of the engine to submarine under the passenger compartment in the event of a frontal collision. The amount of bracing under the tranny and engine is pretty substantial and nearly absent in the stock car. The stock subframe is mostly for offset frontal collision reinforcement.

It'll beat the heck outta having to buy every popular header on the market.

UNequal? sure - that's what's in the pic. If you mean equal we hope to find out since we've got an equal length setup on the STi.
Yep. Equal is what I meant. Cool, I probably won't switch braces but it would have a large impact on me if I were still shopping.

I really like the design.

I would recommend against the chromoly for weight purposes.

IMO, if someone is THAT hardcore on stiffness, they would be best fit to get a roll-cage.

The weight savings is a big benefit of the brace.

BTW, for the guy who mentioned the RPM brace, I have one with the APS equal length header with no issues.

If someone made a stock like replacement that was stiffer, but still shaped like a "U", would you buy it? I would probably consider it, pending on the price.

I want one. I was waiting for RPM to come out with their solution for undertray forever(that and saving up money ), but this one has all the things I'm looking for. But it looks like it will not be very light.

Looks good but I am worried about oil filter access. Don't want to have to take off the subframe every time I change oil.

Probably not, I'm cool with my Do-Luck subframe.

I haven't seen a subframe that restricts your oil filter access.

I believe it's the underbody panel that would do that.
