Looks very nice. I probably would have gotten a new subframe a long time ago if it wasn't for my concerns about the engine not being able to submarine. I still probably won't get one, but I wish you guys the best in selling a lot of them.

my biggest problem is that most require the removal of the under shroud. it has been shown that removing that piece of plastic will cause lift. i want as much down force as possible, so for now i trade rigidity for down force.

Any thinking on whether this piece is ALK compatible?

good question! from the looks of it, it is real close to the stock a-arm mount. lets hope that was taken into consideration!

Look closely at the undercar pic. You'll see an ALK on there.

I saw something, I just couldn't be 100% sure. I just figured I'd get it on record. Thanks!

Looks very sexy. My only question is whether it will clear after market headers or not. If this can come in a chunk lower in price than the other ones that are around they're gonna sell well. I'll buy one for sure. The only reason I haven't bought a subframe yet is pricing well on the north side of $500 (more like $600+) for the others.

Will it fit an unequal length header?

I have an RPM brace already and a ported stock header but I wanted an equal length and James said it probably wouldn't fit with the RPM brace. I figured it would make a difference to others who might buy this.

Not sure on price, but I already know this is not going to be for you. Quality work on a large piece like this is going to $600+. If you don't believe me print out pics of the braces and start visiting welders near you.

I gotta let you in on a secret - I knew they were there ahead of time. I'm the one that sent them to him.

good question - I know that he's updated it to get more room for the headers. Most likely what I'll do is get on in here, put it on a car, and get a measurement from heads to bar so folks can check if their headers will fit. It'll beat the heck outta having to buy every popular header on the market.

UNequal? sure - that's what's in the pic. If you mean equal we hope to find out since we've got an equal length setup on the STi.

I whole heartedly believe you on the price. The more I think about it the more attractive this looks. It addresses all of the issues with the ones currently on the market. It eliminates the hassle of finding a brace that will clear the ALK, or that require you to lose the tray, or one that won't clear headers etc.
