AMS is proud to introduce a new product to the Subaru Impreza community: the AMS Carbon fiber Roof!

Designed as a direct replacement of the factory roof skin, the AMS CF roof weights in at 10lbs and reduces 16 lbs of weight off a crucial area of the car. It's constructed of A Carbon fiber Kevlar weave with a foam core. It was engineered to stand up to the abuse a race car can throw at it, but still be put on your average daily driver.

The roofs are made per order with a 2-3 week wait.

The Price is $1,199.95 + Shipping

That's awesome...is there anything else you can tell us about the manufacturing process? Is it just a wet carbon layup? I only ask because you obviously don't want a CF roof splintering in a rollover and stabbing you in the face

Will this be available with a cutout for the JDM Spec-C roof vent? Also, please let us know what is involved to install this. Thanks!

You're basically gonna need a shop that is qualified to repair a car with structural damage. This is a pretty major change in the structure of the car and this type of install would require someone who knew exactly what they were doing.

Great product though and with the right body shop, one kick ass mod!!!

Most definetly, the roof is contructed of a Carbon fiber kevlar weave with a foam core. Same material and process is used for the EVO roofs which we run on our Time Attack Evo and our Drag Racing evo which just went 8.75 @ 166 MPH. The roofs are made by a company who makes F1 grade carbon, their products are used in race cars all over the world.

I will post pictures of the installed product as soon as I have them, for now here are the pictures of the CF roof installed on an EVO:

Because of the size the roof must be shipped freight. Average cost of shipment is $300.

My apologies......

HQ Customs next door to us does all of our body work, they charge $700 to install the roof on an EVO. The front windshield and back window have to be removed....

The roof has equal if not greather structural integrity than the factory roof. Its a direct replaacment of your factory roof skin.
