Default Functional Aerodynamic Parts from APR and Cusco!!!

There's a lot of rice out there....flashy body kits, sweet looking coffee table rear wings, front bumpers that might as well be parachutes, etc.

It's too bad most of it is crap and will make you slower.

Here at RCE, we appreciate a car that looks good, but if your car approaches lift-off at 65mph, or has the drag coeffecient of a barn door, what's the point?

Functional is the name of the game at Racecomp Engineering....if it doesn't work, we won't touch it.

-----------------------------------------------------------

APR Carbon Fiber Front Splitter

To combat the effects of front end lift, APR Front Wind Splitters are utilized to give extra traction and control in the front of a car. By creating a high pressure area on top of the wind splitter, and low pressure below the car, the effect of lift is reduced and a driver can gain from the extra traction and control.

Includes Support Rods.

$305

-----------------------------------------------------------

APR Carbon Fiber Front Bumper Canards

Carbon Fiber Canard Bumper Flaps are constructed of carbon graphite composite with aluminum leading edge. Canards increase front downforce at high speeds stabilizing the chassis during hard cornering. Found on many GT race cars, they allow you to customize your car front end downforce by either installing two flaps or creating maximum downforce with a full set of four canards.

$175

-----------------------------------------------------------

Cusco GT Front Underspoiler

Researched and Developed from the Cusco GT Racing Impreza. Provides the purpose of avoiding extra unnecessary airflow under the chassis that lifts up the car. This provides down-force to the front of the vehicle, which will allow greater traction on the front tires to help with straight or cornering maneuvers.

$449

-----------------------------------------------------------

Cusco Aluminum Undertray

Generates a vacuum pressure at the air pocket zone on the under panel, which instantly causes downforce action on your vehicle. Designed to be used with the Cusco GT Front spoiler.

$525

-----------------------------------------------------------

Cusco Diffuser and Subrame Bar

Underbody Diffuser allows airflow underneath the car to expand, filling in the wake of the car. Downforce is increased with little to no drag penalty by providing better airflow under the car. Rear subframe bar improves performance by connecting both right and left ends of the chassis frame, the bar stiffens the car and decreases chassis flex.

Sold as a complete kit.

$229

-----------------------------------------------------------

APR Carbon Fiber Mirrors

APR Formula GT3 Carbon Fiber Mirrors are designed for optimum performance, most widely used mirror on formula race cars. Feature a left to right pivot at the mirror housing with an adjustable ball stub rod to allow a very wide range of adjustment. These carbon fiber mirrors are compact aerodynamic shaped with a very low drag coefficient. Billet aluminum mounting bases are specifically designed to factory specifications for easy installation.

$289

-----------------------------------------------------------

APR Widebody Kit for 2006 Impreza

The APR Performance SS/GT aerodynamic wide body kit offers traction gains to Impreza WRX and STI owners. The SS/GT aerodynamic kit increases overall body stance by 3.15 inches (80mm). With this increased distance, Impreza owners can now run 18-inch wheels with wheel diameters up to 305mm (315mm with additional suspension modification). Kit includes front bumper, front Carbon Fiber Splitter and front Undertray, front Carbon Fiber Canards, Widebody Front Fenders (40mm) with Wheel Turbulence Exhaust Ports, Widebody Side Skirts, Widebody Rear Door, Gas Door and Fender Combination (40mm), and Widebody Drag Reduction Rear Bumper.

Used on the ESX Motorsports Speed World Challenge GT Subaru WRX STi, driven by Gary Sheehan.

$3949

-----------------------------------------------------------

APR Carbon Fiber Rear Wing

The GTC-200 wing is the latest aerodynamic 3D designed technology aerofoil, constructed with carbon fiber composite materials from the aerospace industry, and the center humped aerofoil design for cleaner air travel over the wing. Combining these two newest technologies and its adjustablilty, this is the most efficient lightweight GT wing of all.

$679

-----------------------------------------------------------

Cusco GT Rear Wing

Add downforce to the rear of the car with this adjustable, lightweight rear wing. Single wing bolt-on type using the OEM wing mounting holes prevents the need for drilling extra holes.

$439

Hi Myles, what are your thoughts between the ARP rear diffuser and the Cusco rear diffuser/subframe bar? does one function better than the other? The ARP has the Cusco beat in the looks department, but im more interested in fuction......thanks......

The APR rear diffuser will make more of a difference.....but with any diffuser, the effect is much more noticeable when the rest of the underbody is flat, or at least covered up as much as possible.

The Cusco diffuser/subframe bar make a slight difference, less then the APR diffueser. The subframe bar is a noticeable mod at lower speeds.

We sell the APR diffuser as well, $469.

Does APR make a front splitter for us 06-07 guys yet? The one you're showing here is designed for 02-05 WRX's correct?

Technically no, but you can make the one for the 04-05 fit. Take a look at the Element Tuning time attack car and you'll see what I mean.
