We don't have any other futhur shots, but I'll check with Seibon on Monday to see if they have any installed pictures, and also what their take is on the "yellowing" of silver C/F and let you guys know

Thats too bad, its a reall sexy hood. Maybe its from outside air getting into the weave, causing some kind of chemical reaction.

I would love to sport one of these hoods.

UV huh, seems like they should be able to apply some kind of protecive coating. Sounds like the vendor really misslead you. I would let Seibon be aware of that, see if they could work something out. I'm sure Seibon wants to keep its customers happy, and not representing a product that looks bad.

does the yellowing effect happen in all of their cf hoods even if its not the silver or diamond weave??

Hey guys, sorry for getting back to you guys so late. I was waiting for a response back from my Seibon rep. Essentially, I was informed this "Diamond Weave" is completely different than normal Silver CF, and is far less prone to yellowing. I was told it should not yellow at all, and if it does, it will be covered under warranty.

I don't see why they would deny a second warranty if the hood is truly damaged. That is not the customer's fault and they should not have to pay for it. I again have to wait for a response back since they are closed up for today, but I'll let you guys know tomorrow.

I have a sebon hood with normal weave. and no yellowing what so ever(knock on wood).. love that damn hood!!

I'm just told the warranty is upheld on a case to case basis and there's no specific 1-warranty only policy. Sorry for the differing stories from us and that other vendor, and my rep could be completely wrong, but that's what I'm told.
