My tint guy couldn't do the curved taillight. Said the curves made it impossible. I guess I need a new tint guy because other people on here had it done. I don't know what to do. I have to order more overlays from BlueBat now.

I have the two triangles done but no tails and it looks ridiculous. I guess I will try to do it myself. How did you guys get around the curves?

Tint installers are the "guru's" of overlay/tint applications. With all the tools to massage, heat, and avoid scratching tint, he should know what he's doing.

So if he says he cant get the over lays to mate the surface of your tail lights, you pretty much screwed.

p.s. Kind of weird though. The 08 tails are not that curved.

There's that lump in them though. I have put 3M film on the headlights of my truck and done the mirrors with the 3m and that wasn't easy but I did it.

So...Yeah I guess the tint guy had never done anything like that and just didn't know his stuff.

Can't decide if I should try to go to a different tint guy or try it myself.

I guess the latter choice would be cheaper. I guess I consider myself crafty.

Thanks Andy! Got my smoked redout cutout turn/reverse and third brake light overlays on Monday...leeberbs is putting them on this saturday...can't wait!
