IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | I plan on rallycrossing my 05 sti this year and Im having some trouble finding a skid plate for the rear diff. I know I can get the front from rallyarmor. Anyone know any websites where I can get the rear? Also do you reccommend having anything else. Heres what im running in http://www.stlrallyx.org/information.html http://www.stlrallyx.org/media/video...005/Mark-6.wmv This ad is not endorsed by this member. IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2005 Trader Rating: (10) | the diff cover is much smaller than the front skid plate and only protects the rear diff. are you looking for something that's comparable in size to the front skid plate? here's a link with a pic of the prodrive piece: New Prodrive Rear Diff Protector WRX/STI Group Buy. |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | i, too rallycross, i have both the front skid plate from ipdusa and the prodrive rear diff. if you are looking for EVEN more protection, there are companies (well one that i know of, at least) that will sell up to 3'x6' urethane (just like the rallyarmor mudflaps) that you can attach to the bottom of the car...it's really useless. if you gey real serious, check out UMS. they make carbon-kevlar pritection for many rally cars and such. have fun, it's a blast. http://www.umsrally.com Last edited by arsonall; 03-09-2006 at 05:17 PM. |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | ^^^^ipd's is the same thickness, but looks MUCH better, but he has a front plate, and the rear diff guard is cheesy (primitive's) ums's carbon kevlar diff is just $100, much cheaper than any other, but prodrive's is the coolest |

| nulla poena sine lege | Yeah, I know, I've had the ipd front skid plate for over a year. Didn't notice a rear which is what the original poster wants....and FUNCTION over looks if you rally...the primitive offers more protection than the prodrive...and at $100, the same price as the ums...again, he says he's going to rally so he needs something solid......Primitive also makes a carbon/kevlar skid plate.
