i just sent mine to caesar with all the stock bulbs in place. no other bulbs were sent. i believe caesar was referring to those that want to swap out the clear bulbs for some ambers or those that blink amber, but are clear when off. i'm going to get ambers for the parking lights when i get my lamps back.

You can supply me with bulbs to put in (parking lamps / blinkers) or you can put those in when you get them back, either way its fine.

Default hmmm...

How full service are you? Have you done any '06's? I know it seems like a pain for a little gain, but I *might* be interested... would you take care of replacing the ambers with clears that shine amber and all that or do I need to go figure all that out, too?

^^ I can take care of anything you need If you pay for the bulbs I can go out and get those, then you can paypal me when its all said and done.

I have not done any 06 lamps just yet. However, I have done all different headlamps (off different cars) and my process is all the same. Let me know...

lokutus1 , The finished product

And good idea leaving the amber piece inside the parking lamps....it looks much more factory this way...

Kinda wish now I left mine in like that!

Nice job packing them up too!

Hmm, maybe I should buy an extra set of lamps? This way whoever wants cleared lamps, I can send my set out first, you replace with the cleared ones, and this way there is zero downtime.

Any suggestions guys? I want to make this work for everyone
The usual way this is done is that when you ship out a set of lights you include a "core charge" that gets refunded when you get the stockers back.

I suppose there can still be issues, such as if the returned lights are mangled or damaged.

I knew right away it wouldnt be as easy as it sounded. But the whole core charge sounds like a good idea...

I got into a small accident today (due to ice + ****ty michigan pot holes) = bent rims/axles

If the repair takes until this weekend, I'll stop by the subaru service and get my lights and ship it to you!

and also, do you think you could get the clear amber lights for me? (if you have spare time). I just don't want to screw up or end up buying the wrong thing. Let me know how much they are.

(But hopefully I get my car back tomorrow or thursday)

**PS. has anyone drove without their headlights? Do you get pulled over for not having the blinking lights even if it's light out?

^^ Sounds good... I can take care of the bulbs for you, no problem...

They are only 3 dollars at autozone..

You can drive w/o your lamps...is it legal, dont think so can you get away with it? Sure, just say you had an accident
