Kev,

I had to upgrade to a vendor status, otherwise they wanted to lock this thread for good. I want to help everyone out and I want this to keep going, even if its just enough to pay for the monthly vendor fees. I think we all benefit from my services and when you guys pay me you support the site because I have to pay Ben.

The whole problem was that the actual vendors were getting pissed off that I was offering this service w/o being a vendor. Anyways, yes, I am a vendor now

So help me out, if you know anyone who needs this done, just point them in the right direction

yeah, the sti is generally my daily driver. in the winter time though, i drive my dad's cavaliar a lot. so, it gives me a chance to do some mods to the car without having to worry about down time. also saves the sti from a lot of the sand and salt on the roads in the winter...and trust me there's A LOT on the roads here in mass.

If you guys can think of a way to work around this daily driver thing let me know.

Hmm, maybe I should buy an extra set of lamps? This way whoever wants cleared lamps, I can send my set out first, you replace with the cleared ones, and this way there is zero downtime.

Any suggestions guys? I want to make this work for everyone

^That's a GREAT Idea. You could get some used headlights and ship it to the customer, they'll ship their headlights... Now the problem is... the headlights are different in the years... so you might need 3-4 pairs of headlights.

That's actually an excellent idea. You wouldn't have to worry about the year thing.....04's and 05's are the same light. 05's just have that blackened surround, 06's would be the only issue. Start out with a spare set of 04/05's and then pick up a set of 06's if the demand is great.

Default lights in!

i am in the same boat, the STi is my daily driver, i just had to carpool when i didn't have my lights. It actually helped, keep the milage down
you could technically drive it without the lights, but the risk of getting stopped or caught out when the sun goes down is not good i guess you would need to weight the costs.. risk driving/get ticketed ticket, rent a car, bum a ride, or pay for expidited shipping..

oh btw.. here are some pics sorry for the general dirtiness of the car..
i can take more pics if anyone wants need to wash this weekend!

this was the hazed up light, look brand spanking new!!!

general pic

i just need to get new bulbs now and i'll be good
