Thumbs up No Leaks!

Just wanted to give a quick update to all of you out there who are concerned about leaks after clearing. I have no leaks at all after the car was sitting in the rain for about 4 or 5 hours. Caesar really does his best to seal the lights up like factory so bump for a GREAT job.

Caeser, i haven't had time to look at all the posts. i have a set of those vinyl lens protectors on my headlights. do you think this might be an issue for your technique?

interested and i'm somewhat local to you also. live in PA work in North Jersey.

Yes that would most likely be an issue since when the lamp is heated at 220 degrees in the oven the rockblocker or w/e you have over the lamps might become loose and slide or even peal right off. I think the best idea would be just to take the protector off and I can do a nice job and insure a good result in stead of worrying about the vinyl protectant.

You could ship them over, PA ->> NJ = 1 Day, id do it the same night, and then ship out the very next morning... total downtime would be 3 days..

Let me know, just PM me

Thanks! I got another set to do and then I can finally rest!

If you look closely you will notice some sort of "hazing" (on the outter lens) in the original before shots of the lamps...I took the time to polish it up for him and they look much better now!!

Ya those are my lights that that he just cleared! They look beautiful!!!
Sorry ya, i had some crappy hazing on the driver's side light - see below.

ESsTeAEyEe is the man!!!
Sent them out Tuesday afternoon (from IN) and he got them Wednesday afternoon (to NJ). FedEx packed and insured - got lucky, paid for 2day, got there in 1 day! He promptly took care of things AND cleared them SAME DAY, Wednesday Evening and said it'll be shipped tomorrow!!! zOMG that's the lightning fast! and they look PERFECT!

More importantly he really treats it as his own, and takes care of every little detail. Even polished up some hazing on driver's side light. ***My fault on the hazing - tried to get off some road tar on the light and ended up doing some weird stuff to the plastic. Was gonna have to go find some plastic polish, but no more worries, ESsTeAEyEe fixed that for me!*** The extra time and effort he puts in really shows.. Have no doubt, your lights will be in good hands.

Thanks again ESsTeAEyEe
If you guys have any questions feel free to shoot me a pm. I totally recommend him! I was just another guy that read about his thread and thought i'd give it a try. Best choice i've ever made. There are really no worries, just make sure you pack well when shipping out (an extra $15 bucks or so, could save you the trouble of dealing with shipping problems, damage, etc). ESsTeAEyEe always kept in touch, kept me updated, and answered all my pesky pm's.

**updated - here's my baby awaiting her lights from Doc ESsTeAEyEe.

Tom not to tease you, but another member (Allen540tke) happened to come over for the headlamp clearing and he happened to have a white STi

Allens came out flawless as well. They look so nice on a white car, I love the contrast!

Leon, it should be ok, just pop your grill back in. You can put a plastic bag around the headlight harness wires that are just hanging around in there, tape up the bag, and close your hood.

Not much else to worry about. if you were super paranoid, you could use some plastic tarp and tape it up to the opening (like the ghetto fix for smashed windows).

ESsTeAEyEe-
When I get back from Iraq in April. I would like to send my headlights to you. I live in SoCal. but the shipping is not a big deal to me. Your headlamp jobs look awesome, I am already sold.
