| Authorized Vendor |  Replica SYMS 3-Piece Carbon Fiber Spoiler.... I have been able to source some Replica SYMS spoilers for the STi. Note that the stock sti lower portion of the wing is needed to use this spoiler, as it replaces the upper portion with 3-separate pieces. The wing WILL fit 04+ STi's, including the 06, as shown here... exterior modification (No.19a) ~ symms wing on my 06~~~~(pics!) Much thanks to Essemes for that awesome thread... Like i said earlier, this wing is 3-peices, 1 carbon fiber center piece and 2 fiberglass side peices...adjustable center-piece...heres a a pic of the actual wing...  The wing will come with all hardware. Alot of time was put into this wing to ensure that it mounts as close to OE as possible. You will need the sides painted to match the color of your car. Heres the catch, the bottom portion of carbon fiber center-piece isnt carbon, instead, its all black...the upper portion IS carbon fiber and the weave is really nice. here are more pics....  u can see the top part of the center-piece is CF and the bottom is all black.... heres a crappy picture of the CF weave...  Price is $550 shipped!!...why pay $1200+ (not including 3 months wait and paint)?? exterior modification (No.19a) ~ symms wing on my 06~~~~(pics!) but to answer ur questions, the paint guy should prep the side pieces and paint it...the center piece is ready to install...i just dropped mine off at my guy and they took care of it from there...fitment is good IMO, esp considering this is a replica...also, we changed the way it mounts so that it mimics the stock wing....hope that answers all of ur questions...if u have any other questions, feel free to ask them... | |
