Pics of my last rally

I want to share with you some pics of my last rally with a Spec C Subaru Impreza STI. We finished 2nd of group N, and 10th of the general championship (78 cars in total).

This was my 3rd rally and I am very happy with the general feeling of the car. I'm now starting to be confortable at the limit with the car, and with the brakes. The ALS works perfectly, and still I'm getting used with the gear box.

The most important challenge for me is to be able to drive fast with the co-driver notes, not visually. I'm starting to doing in the proper way. In my first rally I tried to drive visually, looking for corners apex and exit. This method is really slow for rallys. The key is to make a good and detailled notes, and trust them.

I'm learning a lot, this is an incredible experience !!!!. I'm getting ready for my next rally, the 12th of July.

I'm using the RSSP suspension

awesome. placing 2nd in your 3rd race has to feel good. is the series you are in all tarmac?

Yes, the series I'm driving is all tarmac.

Some more pics of the last rally, here with the only part with some gravel, only some meters. The problem here is, you come from a very fast part with the tires very warm, then you enter in the gravel and when you exit this part and go back to tarmac you have the tires very dirty and slippery

Too fast in this slow corner. We broke the right front transmission, and the car was very difficult to drive: understeer on entry, oversteer on exit. Fortunatelly it was in the last loop of the rally.

The roads were very dirty during the rally. It was also full of traps, 30 cars were out of a total of 80.

This was taken climbing a mountain, a very narrow and dirty road

I'll try to find more pics.

I will try to prepare a post explaining the differences between the road Impreza STI (my daily drive) and the rally STI
