245 in a stock?

Can I run 245/45/17's in the A stock class on an STi?

Tire size is unlimited in Stock classes. Run as wide as you can fit. I have seen several A Stock pre-08 STIs running 275 width tires on stock wheels.

I've even seen 275's on the 04 7.5" wheels.

If you are going to run 275's on stock wheels though you'll need a ~5mm spacer for clearance with the strut. Or you could get a wheel that has a 47-48 offset instead of the spacer. Remember that stock allows for for a +/- .25" (6.35mm) variance in offset...anything greater than that is not legal in stock class.

The guy's in the 08's+ are able to fit 295's easily.
