Default Highschool Drags???

What do you guys think should I do them or not? Last year I had just gotten the car and was new to driving a stick and the car wasn't even broke in . Now I am cobb stage 2 and a decent driver. I'm just unsure since people always talk crap about my car at school when I don't do anything so I guess I'm a little nervous, but at the same time it would be pretty fun. HELP!

**** The racing takes place at the local dragstrip****

Sounds like a lot of fun but chances are you're gonna get busted and someone could get hurt. Do you have any real competition? I mean what's the point of taking a big risk to race a bunch of FWD honda's? Don't forget you might have to deal with a sore loser who feels the need to engrave your car or something too.

With that said, back in the day i woulda done it

edit: do it for sure now that I know it's at the track. I mean what have you got to lose?

first of all it depends what everyone else has...and i am pretty sure there aren't many cars that will keep up with yours if its stage 2, and since you have driven it for a year you should know what its capable of doin, your call.

I know that a Stage 2 STi would smoke anything that was driven at my highschool. Is this a sanctioned event at a local dragstrip or something?

Oh sorry guys I should have been more specific its bracket racing so all that really matters is how consistent you are so you can basically drive anything and I mean anything. I could really care less about that I'm sure you guys know its mostly all about bragging rights . Yea that's mostly why I want to go so stupid people at my school who don't know what they are talking about and think that their integra gsr/h22 prelude with exhaust and intake will keep up with my stg2 sti

Yea its for all highschools in western washington at the local race track. Its a pretty cool thing to go and watch except for lots of super slow hondas with no exhaust

If you want to go and post up the fastest time to have bragging rights, then do it. But bracked racing is and some crappy automatic Camry will probably win.

Yea that's what pretty much always happens. Or else like a truck lol. But its mostly tight just to go and see all the cool cars from all the schools come out that's pretty much the point of it no one cares much about who wins its just for looking badass lol. Last year there were a bunch of subarus (2 are on here I think), an evo, some srt-4's, s2k's, rsx's, etc.

So I know bracket racing sucks, but if it were you would you guys do it or no?

I say go for it, don't plan on winning since its a bracket race, just go to post the fastest time, and if possible bust out of your bracket (can't win that way, but worth tons of bragging rights)

Why do they talk crap about your car? Are they talking crap about you or about your car?

In any case you should go
