My first rally with STI

Last week I have participated in a local rally with a group N Subaru Impreza STI. This was my first rally and it was an astonishing experience

. I'm planning to attend all the local rallys (8 more this year). I will have to get used to this car step by step, because it's very different from my daily drive STI. It's much stiffer, and it's not easy to reach the limit. I had some problems with the brakes (rear right brake was very easy to block, and I had severe oversteer at the entry of corners), and I finished 26th of a total of 53 cars.

The group N STI is a rental car and it's based on a spec 'c', with a lot of parts from Prodrive.

Thats not fair, I wish rally was big in the states. Thats a very nice way to spend a weekend.

Congrats on the race, I'd love the experience.

Is that an 04 turned 06???? Just asking because of the center console.

As far as I know the car is a 06 spec C changed to left hand drive.

They might have used an 04 center console in the conversion.

Rally is BIG in the US.Just not on the box.

Hmmm, I wasn't aware you could rent a rally car. Wonder if anyone does it around here.

^call up vermontsportscar . . . they build all the DC cars and the X-games cars . . . and Pastranas' cars. . .

New Hampshire has a rally school . . . I'm thinking of signing up this summer for a "me" weekend

hey did u build that or buy it either way i love it espacially the dash wrapped in carpet so u dont get a glare real nice bro

That is my dream!

I never thought it was possible to rent a rally car because I would think it might be crashed quite a bit over time... what happens if you crashed that one?
