Just got an email from local awesome photographer and hard core rallyist/rally supporter Rupert Berrington. Here it is.

Just got off the phone with Kurt Hansen, owner of RaceCentral TV. He
has just bought the US rights to the WRC and will start broadcasting
shows with the Mexico round. The official announcement is coming out
first thing next week. He said he will have daily segments about WRC on
his normal show and full WRC coverage on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and
Sunday with a ten minute wrap up on Monday. Natalie Richard will be on
the broadcast team!

It will be broadcast on the Comcast Altitude Network as well as
DirecTV 644 and Dish Network 410. There will also be live streaming and
Pod casts if I understood correctly.

Web site doesn't have anything yet except for the WRC logo but more
info should be coming.

FYI Kurt Hansen and Race Central TV are based in Denver. I was
listening to the NASCAR channel on AM950 on the way to the CU game this
morning when Kurt announced that he had bought the TV rights to WRC.
Called him when I got back home and he confirmed.

I heard that RaceCentral TV only has a channel in Colorado, but that's just the word on the street.

SPEEDtv needs to pick up the WRC again!!

Unfortunately I've sent 4 messages to SPEEDTV and received exactly zero response. And all of them were nicely written.... not like I wanted to show up there with a Louisville Slugger.

SPEEDTV ftl. I was able to find the Altitude channel on DirectTV, but I'm late finding this thread and didn't see anything at all in their line-up. Made a few new wishlists on the TiVo. Man it'd be F'N AWESOME to get WRC back. Any updates would be excellent.

I havent looked into this, but is there a way to watch WRC events through their website? I think you might have to pay for this.

Last year out of total desparation, I subscribed to RallyLive. I think it cost about 75 bucks. You can go into their video section and watch rally footage and some in car stuff. But I didn't watch it enough. It's just lame watching it on your computer when you SHOULD be sitting in front of the 60 inch with a beer in your hand. FU@&!N% SpeedTV. Tools.
